Our extra-curricular highlights
Band Camp
The annual Davidson High School band and acapella camp took place at Camp Kedron. All students who attended had a great time participating in ensemble rehearsals and tutorials with specialist tutors as well as fun activities like rock climbing and archery. With SOPA just on the horizon, each ensemble worked incredibly hard toward perfecting their repertoire and we finished the camp with a mini concert that allowed all groups to listen to each other and hear the progress and development that had been made over the two days.
Season of Performing Arts
For over 30 years, our high school has been a vibrant home for the performing arts - where creativity, confidence, and collaboration come to life.
At the heart of this legacy is our annual Season of Performing Arts (SOPA) - a celebration that transforms student creativity into breathtaking productions in Dance, Drama, and Music.
Each year, students develop original works and bring them to life on the professional stage of Glen Street Theatre, gaining real-world experience in the arts and growing in ways that extend far beyond the spotlight. The stage becomes more than a performance space - it becomes a classroom for courage, expression, and transformation.
As a parent, you’ll witness your child discover their voice, their passion, and their potential - whether they're centre stage, behind the scenes, or part of the creative process. Join us in a tradition that has inspired thousands and continues to shape students not just as performers, but as confident, capable young adults ready to shine in any field they choose.
Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver Awards
Every year Davidson High School offers students the opportunity to be involved in both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards, lead by some of our amazing teachers.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Year 11 Biology students went to Long Reef rock pools as part of their Depth Study task.
